HOME.
We arrived home to Tweed about 10 days ago now. We left Millmeran and just kept going straight home. The weather was the main reason we wanted to go home without stopping as we were in for quite a bit of rain and wanted to try to get home before it all started.
So we set up and we are booked in for a couple of months. It’s strange to think that this time last week our beautiful spot at Moree is now totally under water.

This photo is the lovely camp kitchen that is provided, with ovens, tables, chairs, fridges and tv. All now under water.
We used to walk through this park every day to the shops.
And now it’s covered in water. It’s really heartbreaking for everyone.
We had a good run home, booked into the park and were able to pick our own site as it was quite empty. I think the weather has put people off travelling at the moment.

The town has really suffered badly and the wheat crops that is their main income is now under water as well.

They are a lovely couple that are so welcoming every single time we visit. The do a great job looking after the huge Showgrounds and the amenities are always spotless.

We were camped right in front for 5 days with beautiful weather…..not a cloud in the sky….and now this.

To all those people in Moree NSW and beyond …..and all those people in Victoria that have been affected by floods ……our hearts go out to you all ❤️❤️❤️😥
