MORE BEACH PHOTOS.
There hasn’t been much to write about lately.
This is looking towards Snapper Rocks.
Rainbow Beach ❤️
But by far, our most favourite walk……(not beach) is the walk along the beachfront of Tugun.
We seem to have slipped back into our normal routines pretty effortlessly, as we do when we get back to Tweed.
Ed’s back playing bowls at his club, and catching up with all his mates. The phone calls start again for him……asking could he fill in a spot?…. and is he available to play on such and such a date?……which is good for him as there’s lots of competitions as well as social bowls playing at the moment.
And it’s good for me as I get to have the car, and go exploring the Op Shops and shopping centres. Not that I need anything, but it’s always good to browse, and have some me time.
It’s still very warm. The air con has not been off since we’ve been here…. and that’s 24/7. It’s cyclone season, and poor New Zealand have declared a State of Emergency as they were smashed yesterday with a terrible cyclone. The footage coming through from that beautiful country is just so damn sad.
As the weather is so warm, the only time we can walk is at night, once that sun starts to set.
It’s such a beautiful time of the day, when everyone is so pleased to see the sun disappear over the mountains.

(Sorry that the photos look grainy, but it’s the time of the day where we transition from bright light to sundown)
But by far, our most favourite walk……(not beach) is the walk along the beachfront of Tugun.
Every night, we get in the car and drive to this spot so we can walk along this gorgeous pathway.
It’s amazing as you see so many beautiful things. There are so many families that use this walk at night. There are so many cute dogs.
There’s this one white poodle. She is so well groomed, and soft, and she loves a pat, which of course I have to do.
But the funny thing she does, when she’s on the grass, she just flops spread eagle, and will not move, but loves her Dad to drag her like that, on her belly, all legs sticking out. It’s hilarious, but so cute.
We see lots of families, and lots of gorgeous little blonde kids, the spit of their mums and dads, all tanned and cute, learning to skate board with their Dads.
It’s a very family orientated place.
The units and homes are gorgeous (as I think I’ve already said.)
We never tire of this walk. On the way back, it’s dark then, and we get to talk to a beautiful white fluffy cat that will only appear from one of the units, when everyone goes home.
And yes….I’m not a cat fan, but she just seems to come up to us and wait for a pat, then will disappear into the night down to the beach.
Probably chasing the crabs. ๐ฆ๐
It takes us about an hour and a half to complete the walk, and by the time we get back to the car we are glad to sit our bums down. I’m not sure how far the walk is, but I know it’s about a 9,000 step walk.
But it’s good as we certainly sleep well after our shower. I fall into bed ๐๐๐ด๐ด
Stay safe everyone
❤️❤️
