DUNEDOO. NSW
Arrived at Dunedoo (pronounced Dunny Do )about lunch time. It’s such a hilly road from Jerry’s Plains and the roads are atrocious from all the rain. Plus it was very windy and I was getting blown around which didn’t make for a relaxing drive, but we are here safe and sound.
We went for a walk around the town, which has a population of 1,000 people.
Winx is a retired champion Aussie thoroughbred racehorse.
And a boy sitting on the Dunny and just realising there’s no toilet paper left on the roll.

Dunedoo is well known to Aussie travellers due to its distinctive name. A lot of people call it Dunny don’t … because they didn’t like it, but we think it’s nice little country town.
There is Silo Art here to see…..
Winx is a retired champion Aussie thoroughbred racehorse.
Between May 2015 and her retirement in April 2019 she won 33 consecutive races including 25 Group 1s ( a world record)
In 2017 she was inducted into the Aus Racing Hall of Fame and over her career, she earned more than 26 million Aussie dollars.
Chris Waller is the trainer there and Hugh Bowman was her jockey.
She has since retired.
So the Blue painting on the left of Winx took us ages to work out what the bloody hell it was 🤔
I stood for ages and didn’t realise, until I got back home to the van and looked at the photo again.
It’s a bloody semi truck unloading its grain at the Silos. 🙄
On the other side of the Silo is a young boy reading a book, a frog, and a cow in the cotton field ……
And a boy sitting on the Dunny and just realising there’s no toilet paper left on the roll.
Dunedoodooooo…..he’s in trouble 🤣
❤️❤️take care everyone.
