FROM THE BEACH TO THE BUSH.

Well I think I remember saying that I wouldn’t post for a while. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
That’s a joke, you can’t shut me up when we travel.

We are staying here for the night at a place called Jerry’s Plains.
We’ve been here a few times before, but it’s always a good stopover.
It’s a free camp, with no power, but it does have toilets and water if you need them.

There’s a few of us in tonight. A few families, a lady on her own and couples like us……so it’s a safe place to stop.
There’s a pub in the town to accomodate the 385 residents. A school, and a police station, a petrol station with cheap fuel, and a vet.

This is the lovely police house, never seen anyone in it though.

And of course there’s always the horses that come say hello around dinner time..
when your cooking carrots….

Loves a pat this horse.

Stand off…..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Ok then……
Loves his horses….

Tomorrow we head off and travel through some beautiful country, it’s one of my favourite drives as you go past the Godolphin Estate.
It’s the global thoroughbred breeding operation and horse racing team founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum……Al for short I call him πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

His racing empire spans across four continents, from his home in Dubai to Europe, Australia, Japan and America.
So he has a Bob or two.

This area is so pretty and the rolling hills of green grass obviously makes an ideal place for his stables. The homes that accompany these stables are very well protected with gates and lots of security.

So not sure where will end up tomorrow. I’ll let you know ❤️❤️
Take care ❤️❤️
