MUSWELLBROOK. NSW

We’ve been here at Muswellbrook for a couple of days now. We’ve got our bearings of the town, and are lucky enough to have, Coles, Chemist Warehouse and the Reject Shop just a stones throw away from us…..within walking distance…….so what more could you want 😂

We’ve had some beautiful days…..but my goodness it gets so cold……cold enough to snow, which it has been known to do here. 😳🥶

Luckily this just missed us…but the blast of icy wind didn’t. 🥶🥶
Yesterday we heard them blasting at one of the coal mines close by…..made the ground move……luckily I knew what it was as I was outside at the time.

There are a lot of heritage listed buildings in the town. Just a walk through town and you can spot many of them …..

And the Churches in this town are massive and so stunning.

The town itself is very hilly, so a walk around it is a great workout. 😮‍💨

It got a bit chilly in the afternoon so after having Subway for lunch, we came home.
Ed went outside to rig up an Anderson plug so he can put a solar panel on the car roof. We’ve decided we do need an extra fridge in the car, so that when we go shopping in the warmer weather, we can keep our shopping cool.
Plus the plug and extra solar panel will also be able to top up the van solar….and keep our electric blankets on when free camping. They have come in very handy
🥶🥶

So while Ed played with wires outside, I managed to find stuff and made a coconut jam slice.

It doesn’t look pretty but a plum jam coconut slice from scratch goes down well with a cuppa.😉 Ed was a very happy camper 🤣🤣

It’s going to be a lovely week so we will get out and do a bit of exploring around the area here.

Take care everyone. ❤️❤️❤️
