THE FERRY STOCKTON.

We can’t get enough of this ferry. Today we hopped on it again and this time, Ed wanted to sit up the front.

It was a different perspective seeing all the docks and the ships docked there.

So off we went for a walk, turning right towards the shopping precinct. We felt a bit out of place walking along in thongs and shorts while all the business people were all dressed to the nines.
There is also a massive University in the town centre and it’s such a sight with all its different angles. There’s lots of building going on in the city.

I couldn’t get a photo of it as it was so huge..so had to get it off google.

We went back to the museum to finish off the story of BHP but it was too busy with school students, so we just strolled along the waterfront, said hello to some random person, and then realised afterwards I had just said hello to Daryl Braithwaite

So we had a stroll around the city again as we were looking for something to eat, found a small shopping centre and had Sushi for lunch.

Honestly our feet are killing us, we’ve averaged about 10km a day according to my step counter.

On the way home, Ed wanted to sit outside on the back of the ferry this time.
Next it will be up, with the captain ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

So that was another “to do” ticked off Ed’s list. Me…..I’m just happy watching all the boats come in through the heads and into the docks.

We went for another walk tonight, and saw 4 tugs heading out, so we waited and waited, and were rewarded by this huge big cargo boat being pushed and pulled into its spot.

We decided that we could both live here. It’s just a very special place, and so easy to get around.

This massive boat was way too big to take a photo of as I couldn’t get it all in.

They come so close to you that you are just dwarfed as you look up at these massive cargo ships. Sadly I can only get the photo when they are further away.

❤️❤️ ❤️
