MURRURUNDI

We did a lovely drive today up the New England Highway that takes you through some gorgeous mountain scenery. The road condition was great with no pot holes and plenty of overtaking lanes as it’s the main highway to Tamworth.

We stopped at the lovely town of Murrurundi which was about 65 klms from where we are staying.

What a gorgeous little country town it was, surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding mountains….and the weather was picture perfect 😉

This town was awarded Tidy Town in 2019. You can also adopt a “spot” and help in the upkeep of it.

This area is Horse Stud Heaven. We took a drive around the area and it was stunning.
The Godolphin Stud is out here as well as Gerry’s Plains. What a lovely drive it was through this beautiful part of NSW.
